Breaking the Silence

I haven't blogged in so long I feel like I'm breaking the silence.  Nothing relatively exciting has happened lately.

I am sick and tired of this snow. We have another four inches since I took this picture yesterday. I'm over winter, scarves, boots. I'd gladly trade them all in to just wear a normal skirt without having to wear two layers of tights so I avoid frostbite. I promise I'll even start shaving my legs in normal intervals again!

Jazz Festival is going on this week at the UofI. This makes people crazy. Apparently hotels are sold out not only here but in the next two major cities. People FLOCK to the middle of no-where for a little jazz music. In all fairness I am pretty excited about the concert we have tickets to on Friday. Victor Wooten. Should be pretty good.

I need to give mad props to my poor husband. He put up with this in the middle of our living room floor all weekend long.

My sweet mother in law sent me up a puzzle. I had never done one alone before. It takes much longer than I had imagined, but eventually...

I have since cleaned up, and our living room floor has been reopened.

I Loathe the Day ...

I become an Idaho resident. and now I am one step closer. :(

I'm still jumping through the hoops trying to get my car licensed, but I am really hating the fact that I have an Idaho drivers license. It is nice that I'll finally be able to go by my married name. I'm a few steps closer in getting everything changed over to Larsen. I spent about 3 hours today setting up a new email address, syncing it with my old email addresses, and creating a blog under said email. I'm so glad I'll never have to change my name again.

Botox

Who needs botox? - I have the freezing Idaho winter. Its cold enough to freeze my face in place for at least a half hour. The down side is that the line on snot freezes along with it. ewwwww

I can't wait until it warms up and I don't have to walk to work when it is 15 degrees outside!
